1. Simple healthy broccoli recipe
Ingredients:
Broccoli – 1 Head
Olive oil – 3 tablespoons
Minced garlic – 2 cloves
Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
How to make it
Rinse broccoli well under cold running water.
Cut broccoli into individual small florets. Cut all the pieces of broccoli in almost the same size as the florets.
Place the florets pieces of broccoli in a large pot, add water and approximately 1 teaspoon salt and boil over high heat flame for 3-4 minutes.
Now, dry the broccoli properly with a colander in the sink, shake it and remove most of the water.
Then heat olive oil (2-3 tablespoons) in a large bowl over medium heat and cook garlic for 1 minute until the fragrance of garlic is out.
Add broccoli to it and cook it for 3-5 minutes and stir till it gets a crispy, tender and brownish golden color.
Now sprinkle lemon juice and pepper to taste and your simple healthy broccoli recipe is ready to serve immediately.
Note: Do not boil broccoli for too long because the flavor and crispness will be lost.
2. Baked cheese broccoli recipe
Ingredients:
Broccoli – Medium size or 500 g
Cheddar cheese – 250 g
Olive oil – 1 teaspoon
Milk – 280 ml Approx.
Plain flour – 3 tablespoons
White bread – 2 slices
Garlic – 2 cloves finely chopped
Green chili – 1 finely chopped
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
How to make it:
Preheat oven to 200C or 400F
Cut or you can peel off the broccoli florets in small pieces and then boil florets in water for 5-8 minutes till tender.
Boil the milk in a pan and bring it to simmer while adding the plain flour and cheddar cheese.
Add chopped garlic, green chili, salt, and black pepper in the cheese and flour mixture.
Place the broccoli in a casserole pan and pour the cheese mixture on top of it, then wrap the bread into thumb-shaped pieces over it. To make the bread crisp, pour some olive oil over it.
Then roast the broccoli pan in the oven for 25-35 minutes until golden.

3. Broccoli pasta recipe
Ingredients:
Boiled pasta – 1 cup
Broccoli – 1/4 cup
Chopped garlic – 2 teaspoons
Chopped red chilies – 1/2 teaspoon
Grated cheese – 1/2 teaspoon
Oil – 2 tablespoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
How to make it:
Heat oil in a pan and fry garlic.
Add chopped red chilies with salt and black pepper mix it properly.
Now add broccoli florets in it and allow to cook for two minutes.
After 2-3 minutes add the boiled pasta and over it add grated cheese and cook for 2 minutes.

4. Broccoli salad recipe
Ingredients:
Broccoli – 1 Head (cut into small florets)
Chopped onion – 1
Chopped green capsicum – 1
Chopped red or yellow capsicum – 1 (optional)
Chopped garlic – 2 cloves
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Green chili – 1
Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon (According to your taste)
Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon (According to your taste)
Half lemon – For a sprinkle
Raisins – 6-10 (optional)
Coriander leaves – For seasoning (optional)
How to make it:
Heat olive oil in a frying pan and add cumin seeds till it gets cracked.
After the cumin seeds are crackled add chopped onion, garlic, green chilies, capsicum and add salt and black pepper. Mix it well till the veggies are brownish golden.
Now add the small florets of broccoli in it and allow it to cook for 4-5 minutes.
After 5 minutes remove it in a plate and dress it with coriander leaves, raisins and sprinkle some lemon juice to enhance the taste of the broccoli salad recipe.
5. Broccoli and eggs fried rice recipe
Ingredients:
Broccoli – 1 head (Peel off small florets)
Eggs – 3-4
Cooked rice – 3 Cups
Chopped scallions – 1 (2-3 pieces) small bunch
Soya sauce – 4 spoons
Grated ginger – 1″ piece
Chopped garlic – 2 cloves
Vegetable oil – 4 tablespoons
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 1 tablespoon
How to make it:
Heat a 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a frying skillet, add broccoli and scallions to cook for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender and crisp, then remove it in a bowl.
Now heat the remaining 3 tbsp of vegetable oil in a skillet and add the scrambled eggs to cook.
When the eggs are cooked add rice, soy sauce, sugar, grated ginger, chopped garlic, salt. Stir it well and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
Now add the cooked broccoli and scallions, toss them up properly and your egg broccoli fried rice is ready to be served.
